PixelPlot AI utilizes Stripe to power our payment infrastructure. Depending on your jurisdiction and local billing regulations, payments are processed either directly by AI CREATIVE LABS SRL via Stripe, or through Stripe acting as our Merchant of Record. This policy outlines your refund rights and account management options while accounting for the high compute costs associated with AI generation.
1. General Refund Terms
- 1.1. Non-Refundable Status: Unless required by applicable law, all transactions are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
- 1.2. Discretionary Refunds: PixelPlot AI may issue refunds on a discretionary basis. We generally only consider these for fully unused services or documented technical failures where our platform failed to deliver an output.
- 1.3. Anti-Abuse: Refunds will not be issued where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse (e.g., requesting a refund after heavy usage), or other manipulative behavior.
2. AI Credit & Consumption Policy
Because PixelPlot AI incurs immediate, non-recoverable costs from our GPU and upstream AI providers for every single generation:
- 2.1. Used Credits: Once an AI generation or action is initiated and credits are deducted, those credits are considered fully consumed. Consumed credits are strictly non-refundable as the computational cost has already been realized.
- 2.2. Immediate Performance: By clicking “Generate,” “Process,” or using any AI feature, you provide express consent to begin the digital service immediately. You acknowledge that this results in the loss of any statutory “right of withdrawal” (such as the EU/UK 14-day cooling-off period) for the portion of the service already used.
- 2.3. Unused Balance: Refunds for fully unused credit packs or subscription tiers may be requested within 14 days of purchase, provided the credit balance remains at 100% of the purchased amount.
3. Technical Issues
If a system error occurs where credits were deducted but no result or asset was provided:
- Please contact our support team at hello@pixelplot.ai first.
- We will investigate the platform logs, and if a material technical defect is verified, we will either restore your credits or facilitate a refund through Stripe.
4. How to Request a Refund or Cancel
To request a refund for an unused purchase or a failed transaction, please contact us within 14 days of the transaction date:
- Email Support: Contact our team at hello@pixelplot.ai.
- Billing Portal: Use the “Manage Subscription” or billing history link inside your PixelPlot account dashboard to access your Stripe customer portal.
Subscription Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings dashboard. Cancellation prevents future billing cycles but does not trigger a refund for the current billing period. Your premium features will remain active until the end of your current paid billing cycle.
